One day you will look back and think "wow, I graduated 5...10..15 years ago" and you will realize how small these school fmls really are. Unfortunately, in the mean time just try to pass the class and you won't ever have to think about this teaching again.
I'd of let my parents take that to the principal and ask him/her to decipher it. LOL Payback!!
It happens. I had teachers who believed I was stupid (I'm dyslexic, and naturally shy). I'm 3 months from graduating with an honours degree. Another teacher (music, which was a subject I loved) had an argument with my father because as she said 'I cannot play an instrument'. The instrument she wanted me to play is the xylophone. However I can play an instrument. I play guitar, a bit of piano and was taught how to sing as part of a choir. I can also read music and am one of those nerdy types who can explain why the different scales are what they are, and can figure out what notes are in what chord and what key they go with. The reason she thought I couldn't play, is because she never asked me to an instrument I knew. She asked me to play an instrument I don't know in front of a large group of people, which my shyness at the time stopped me from doing (although now it wouldn't bother me). Teachers don't know everything. Just save the note so that you have something to laugh at in later life.
A teacher's job is to help you learn by lifting you up & expanding your horizons. If they aren't willing or able to do that, I think its time for them to get a new career!
One of my teachers wrote "cannot read your writing" on my paper and gave me a 0. I had to ask him what the note said because I couldn't read it
