I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why you'd ask your FATHER whether he thought guys would be "into" you based on what you were wearing. Probably not how he wants to view his daughter. Just saying.

It could have been a joke, but who knows? As for what women can wear, there's a tremendous difference between sexy and slutty. My take is if you need to be scantily clad showing as much thigh and cleavage as legally possible, you may be more to the slutty side than sexy. I've seen women who can look sexy in full length skirts/dresses, blouses buttoned all the way up to the neck, and even pantsuits. I've seen women in slacks and a blouse look sexier than women in mini-skirts and halter tops. One looks hot, the other looks hillbilly. :)

I think your dad was trying to say they are going to have to get drunk to have the confidence to go up to you. I'm a guy. Example 1 Saw a pretty female at the mall, walked over to her to start talking. I asked her for directions to the store right behind her, the one she had just left. The way she looked at me...fml moment
