Maybe u shoulda brushed ur butter grill a lil better!
parents are the last people usually that should be judging!
fair enough it was rude of the parents. But it's still your own fault for having poor dental hygene. As one of the comments a few FML's ago said. Floss after eating, brush twice a day and use mouthwash. Also to add in my own thing. Having yellow teeth means the core of the tooth is showing through the enamel. What causes this is your mouth becoming acidic (fruit drinks, fizzy drinks, certain foods for example) and demineralizing the enamel. It's not how much sugar you take in in one go it's how often you do it. Your mouth takes 30 mins or so to sort itself back out again. Where I'm going with this is that, if you drink or eat something slightly alkaline afterwords it will re harden your enamel much faster :).
I have a sneaking suspicion that you're British with using the word "mum". this leads me to a question; why would you be surprised that your teeth are discolored?
