Geography lessons

Today, some people in my class here in New Zealand found out that I'm from Canada, then spent the rest of the period asking if I had a pet moose and whether or not I lived in an igloo. They were completely genuine questions. FML

This FML makes me so excited because I have dual New Zealand/Canada citizenship and live in NZ when I was 7!!! Ask them if their best friend is a sheep. Also my dad used to ask my friends, "What's a can made out of?" And then "What's the number after 9?" And then make fun of them for saying the same word, because they pronounce "ten" like "tin".

In these situations, sarcasm is your greatest ally and closest friend. Never forget that.

Did you ask them if which hobbits they were in Lord of the Rings? That would probably shut them up.

Gisborne's horrible come to Wellington much better

As a Kiwi... I apologise profusely.... We are NOT all that dim.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I got the same response when I told my classmates in Texas that I moved there from Alaska. Also they asked if Alaska was that funny shaped island off of California -_-

Being Alaskan I can relate. Hopefully you had some fun trolling them as I like when I travel to the lower 48.
