Aww I'm sorry that sucks -written while riding a polar bear in Toronto Ontario
When I moved to NC from Hawaii people asked if we lived in grasshuts, had electricity, wore coconut bras, etc. I said we are a part of the US so we are civilized people...yes we have electricity and mondern amentities
I like the title for this FML
Little over 10 years ago I visited Australia for a month, and the questions I received blew me away.
I live in Alaska. I get the same questions.
That's not an FML...
I lived in alaska for ten years. These are usual questions. Bullshit and make shit up.
oh youre in gisborne, that explains it, in the South Island we tend to be a bit smarter
I assure you, we're not all idiots.
Oh if you think that's bad, I used to answer phones for tourists who had questions.... Some of the little gems there... "Do you have atm machines in Canada?" "Where do I get tickets for the polar bear tours?" (I live on Vancouver island FYI) "What's the best time to see penguins?" "Is there someone who can teach me how to build an igloo?" "Are there paved roads or will I need to rent something w/ 4wheel drive?" And of course, "is it possible to drive there from Vancouver... You know, w/o having to take the ferry?"

Did you apologize?
Well... Do you?
