Get back to work

Today, I went to Ikea with my family. I was wearing a yellow polo that vaguely looked like the ones the Ikea employees were wearing. Two dozen people came up to me, complaining that I was staring at furniture instead of helping customers. FML

Tell them to go complain to your manager! See how far that gets them.

Tell them you're retarded in a loud, nasally voice, and you only got hired so Ikea could promote an image of being an equal-opportunity employer.

People are idiots! I have people coming up to me all the time when I'm at different stores too. Even when I'm not wearing similar uniforms. They do it to anyone that's not dressed like a slob. It's understandable, people get frustrated when they need help and there's no one around. They're just hope you're the person that can help them finally.

hahahahh, that is quite epic. i must say.

should have helped them out and told them it's on sale for 75% off and your name is Steve if the cashier has any questios to page you... managers love working this stuff out... I know because I am a manager and smartass people do this all the time...

How is this an FML? I would have enjoyed every second of ******* with those people.

tell them get a yellow shirt and you can be the prime example of a five star employee

Clearly, you have no dedication or desire to provide excellent customer service. You deserve to be fired from Ikea, even though you are not an employee.

whenever id leave work for lunchbreak and go nextdoor to the store, not even wearing similar attire to the stores, tons of people would ask me where stuff was. so silly. good thing i knew.
