Im going hunting with my dad
"Hey, I don't think we spend enough time together. Come watch me shoot a bunny!"
Would you rather be in school?
Haha I love OP's username. But this really doesn't sound like a mid-life crisis to me, though I don't know for sure. Sounds more like your dad is an idiot for making you skip school to spend time with him. He couldn't have watched Silent Hill with you AFTER school? FYL
I don't get where the mid-life crisis comes into play here. If he came to your school to hit on your friends, that would be a mid-life crisis (and an idea I should consider, heh-heh-heh.)
Good movie:|
School is important but i would have killed to have my father do that with me when i was younger. He was unemployed and still "didnt have time" to make it to my track events, graduation from basic training or even visit me when i WASNT deployed and still unable to leave the state i was in. Now he wonders why i dont call and even cries about it sometimes. Take advantage and be greatful
You need to make a connection, because when he is gone your going to be wishing you had... Do yourself a favor and call him. :-)
#50, that's not always easy to do. If they've shown that they don't care enough to call you, why waste your time calling when they won't answer? At least that's how it is for me. As for the FML, you should have played the games. :P
Silent Hill is kick ass, so I don't really see how this is an FML...
What's wrong with that? Most people do worse stuff on their midlife crisis. Even if you didn't like it, its only about an hour and a half.

This sounds like the intro to some much more disturbing "father-daughter bonding." And look! He's brought friends!
Sounds like bonding to me. Too bad it was a crappy movie though. Should've watched Friendship is magic. It's better and for all ages!
