Today, my English teacher kicked me out of class for being "rude and disruptive." In actuality, I had called her out for having blatantly used Google Translate for several example sentences, all of which sounded as if a semi-literate foreigner had constructed them. FML

Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML

I'm pretty sure due to continuous downgrades eventually the only criteria for teaching will be completing an application form and having a "passion" for the job

Teachers should welcome student corrections. It shows that the student actually cares, and on the teacher's end, it promotes life-long learning.

Well To be fair this happened in a country that doesn't speak English as a primary language and in my experience those countries have pretty bad English teachers like once apparently according to the ukraine the word for sandwich in English is bread and butter

32, he can tell that google Translate did it because it sounded semi-literate... Also, google translate usually uses words that are similar but not exact, or homophones in the language translated from. Or even synonyms in the other language.

I had some awesome teachers. However, one of my Spanish teachers and my geometry teacher didn't give two ***** about teaching.
