Get out

Today, my English teacher kicked me out of class for being "rude and disruptive." In actuality, I had called her out for having blatantly used Google Translate for several example sentences, all of which sounded as if a semi-literate foreigner had constructed them. FML

Same thing different taste

Underfunded and underappreciated

Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML

After reading these comments I fully intend to walk into my 3rd period Monday and hug my french teacher! Parce que elle est une prof actuel! Pas comme tout les monde ici, mes problèmes avec la langue sont tout moi!!

Pretty sure you just described what's considered to be average IQ... I mean, from what I've been told it works like 130+ Extremely Superior 120-129= Superior 90-110= Average 110-119= High average 89-80 = Low average 70-79 = Low Below 70 = Extremely Low I created an account just to let you know. Though I do agree that the population's intelligence is diminishing, I just don't think it's going at a rate that will be noticeable in only 10 years, if anything it will be discovered when the intelligent people of the future look back on it. Feel free to thumbs down or whatever y'all do here, I've got to head to work, and then probably just slip back into lurking for the laughs I get here.

I'm pretty sure making electronic toys and using proper grammar/spelling are two completely different skill sets. Also, if anything, the ability to guess what someone said in less than optimal conditions would increase your intelligence, I would think.

I am fairly new at the French school (it's my 2nd year) and whenever we have homework that's too hard for me, I translate it through GT. and most of the time I get a passing grade.

And that's why we can't understand foreigners in America... Lol nah, JK. Or am I?

I corrected my English teacher once... I think she hates me :/

I think some teachers just don't want to admit their mistakes, too much pride if you ask me

It's possible to correct a teacher without being rude and disruptive.

91- That's true but a lot of teachers don't take it well even if it's done nicely. Of course, in my experience, they do tend to take criticism/correction better if you do it after class so they don't get embarrassed.
