Ya know there is this thing in the shower called a drain... Why not just throw up in the shower and let it was down the drain? You would've avoided the problem of slipping and hurting yourself and plus you were already there washing yourself off so it wouldn't have made much difference would it?
When I was pregnant I used to hang out in the shower (we didn't have a bathtub at that house) when I was in pain because the water felt really good. I had to get out a few times to throw up. Every time I get sick, I get a horrible pain in my stomach and it actually helps to chill in the shower/bath. It wasn't because I threw up all over myself and I didn't wash myself every single time. I also used to chill in the tub when I had gallbladder attacks and I had to keep getting out to throw up as well. Some people just hang out in the shower while they are in pain. When I was in labour I was in the shower with the (removable) showerhead spraying right on my belly. It felt great.
I'm not understanding the shower after every puke. wtf?

Why would you take a shower after every time you throw up...? FYL, but the actions themselves make no sense.
WHy would you take a shower after every time you throw up? If you're that sick, you barely have energy to run to the toilet and then back to your bed, let alone stand in the shower. YDI, but honestly sounds like crap to me.
