Grammar rules, OK!

Today, my new boss lost his shit and flew into a ten minute rant against me about the "value of respect". He told me that if I wanted to stay in "his" company, I'd best start toeing the line. All this because I corrected his misuse of "your" and "you're" in one of his memos. FML

Always resent the asshole that signs your paycheck...

Someone did that to me on FML I just said thank you

He probably picked up on the fact that you were simply following the latest wacky Internet fad. I like to call it the 'I hate it when people use incorrect grammar, spelling or punctuation & therefore must always immediately correct it cuz' it makes me so mad' fad. (But in reality, it really doesn't bother you at all. There is, however; the 'Killing Yourself' fad which is gonna be all the rage. You should jump all over that one.)

That'll teach you for being a smart ass and a know-it-all!

Even with the best of bosses, you have to earn the right to correct them by doing your job well over time. Even then, you do it privately and politely. Yes, some bosses suck but it is never a good idea to show them up.

Your boss is an ignorant @$$b*tch who thinks they're amazing people which they're not; like mine! Upper management are always idiots who don't know sh!t.
