Great start

Today, on the first day of my nanny job, I wanted to impress my employers with how trustworthy and responsible I am. During the sixty seconds that I went to pee, the two-year-old found a black Sharpie and scribbled all over the wall. Nail polish remover made it ten times worse. FML

Oh my gosh. You should have called the parents of the kid right after it happened. That would have been the responsible thing to do instead of trying to cover up the mess to make a bigger one.

hairspray gets marker off anything.

haha no offense but you should have taken the baby in with you or put them in the crib. never leave an infant alone. there's always something that can happen.

A 2 year old isn't an infant and they could probably get out of the play pen.

I have a three year old son and if it's just me and him home I just leave the bathroom door open. Two year olds should not be in play pens. My son is little for his age and he could get out of a play pen at a year old. If I have to do dishes or something that will take a little longer, I make sure the gates are up.
