Ugh. This reminds me why I will never again date someone who is obsessed with their car. Too high maintenance. The car too.
Report the plate number the police should find it...that hopefully will change him...
Who are you talking about? OP's boyfriend or the keyer?
Maybe he wasn't close with his mother, OP, and most men care a lot about their car's, and it's very expensive to take care of them.
... I don't blame him. that's why I don't park my car at the very front at the school. because that happened all last year to everyone else because idiots live here. lol
If I had just payed several hundred bucks for a paint job Id be upset too...
I'm fairly certain the mourning process of someone's death and expensive damaged goods are entirely different. It's hardly fair for op to make any calls on his behaviour. I'd say he's probably sad abd pissed, of course he may seem like he's over reacting. F his life for having a gf who seems unwilling to put herself in his shoes.
He needs to get his priorities straight. You need a new boyfriend that doesn't curse you out.
I'd be livid too! I mean, cmon, he got his car keyed after spending hundreds of dollars on a fresh paint job.
That's a bunch of bull. You need a boyfriend who will be honest. If you deserved to be cussed out and your boyfriend's just sitting there, treating you like a little princess, that's not a relationship. There's a time and place. OP didn't even think that maybe her boyfriend expected his mother's death, maybe he just wasn't sure how to express himself, maybe they weren't all that close? Either way, when someone's clearly THAT upset, you just talk them through it. You support them, even if you don't agree with it completely. F his life for spending all of that money just for someone to turn it into a waste and for having a girlfriend that didn't even care enough about his feelings.
I cursed out my boyfriend in high school when he almost wrecked my car. Sometimes, the other person needs to hear it. If I am being a bitch, I expect my boyfriend to call me out on it.
Ok, why does op get to say her boyfriend didn't grieve for his mom? Grief over a parent , And being mad about a second keying of his car are two totally types of reactions. I just lost my mom, no anger, just miss her. If somebody keyed my car twice , person had better have a great hiding spot. I'm ruthless in the care of my darling.
Honestly I didn't cry when my mother passed away, and I was 13.. But, I don't think he should have cried over that....
Jesus Christ, It's like he's on his period.

You don't **** with a man's car... Because I'm sure it wasn't cheap.
It's amazing what people put at the top of their priority lists when it comes to reacting...
