Grow up

Today, my boyfriend broke up with me, because apparently I need to "grow up". He's the one who excessively plays Call of Duty and still has Pokémon and Bionicles in his room. FML

Dude, your boyfriend broke up with you and you posted a whiney FML about it? Who -really- needs to grow up?

Yep, you definately need to grow up. There's nothing wrong with playing video games and having 'collectables' (aka Toys) as long as they don't take over your life. Your childish reaction to this breakup shows me that you need to grow up regardless if he does or not.

He is immature. He should be playing Killzone.

Sounds like you do need to grow up to me. So he plays call of duty, the game is rated mature... So technically only adults are supposed to be able to purchase the game. Simply because you play video games doesn't make you a kid. I am not saying he isn't childish, but I have action figures around my room from when I was a little kid. I had a lot of good times playing with those action figures, and seeing them tends to calm me down, it reminds me of better times... the pokemon thing, well... There just isn't any excuse for that... I have binoculars in my room, but just happens to be where i keep those things, so I am really not sure what you are getting at with that one. Implying he is a peeping Tom maybe? Although because you own binoculars doesn't make you a peeping Tom, the act of Peeping makes you a peeping tom.

call of duty is an adult video game. its allowed.

The presence of Bionicle and Pokeman does not indicate emotional age, which he may be referring to in your case.

What's immature about COD? seriously, grow up.

As far as i know Call Of Duty is rated M. Adults still play pokemon, I have no idea what bionicle is. But honestly if that was the problem it's not worth the FML and you'd be better off.

ok really COD is not childish >:O

Hobbies and maturity level are not necessarily related.
