Have you ever zapped anyone?

Today, my dad gathers so much static electricity from almost everything that he does that I've become paranoid and scared to touch him at all. He thinks I hate him now. FML

I used to have the same issue turns out it was a combination of dry skin and not wearing shoes around the house ,caused my body to build up an unusual amount of static electricity. If your Dad wears shoes it'll prevent the socks from building up static electricity and if he lotions his skin, because dry skin holds more static charge then moisturized skin.

I feel his pain. I'm constantly shocking things and people, including computers at work that literally shut themselves off from the static in my finger. I've dubbed myself The Zapper. If I were a super hero, that would be my name.
