Heat of the moment

Today, I tore up my airborne academy admission documents because my lab results weren't good enough. A few hours later, they called me to apologize for the misunderstanding, mine turned out to be perfect and they'd accepted me. They need me tomorrow with all the documents to finalize the admission. Tell them what happened. They were the idiots that made a mistake and it is their fault.

I can't because a few hours prior, my dictionary told me I wasn't good enough so I ripped all the pages up.

Those of you making jokes about how the OP might have torn things up if they werent to his/her liking, stfu. OP tore the paperwork BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEY'D ALREADY BEEN REJECTED AND THEY WERE UPSET. It's a fairly common reaction. They didnt mean the results were good enough for THEM, they meant because they'd been told initially that the results weren't good enough for the academy. LORD, I wish people would use their damn heads before commenting.

uhh... so you tore up your orders? Nice one buddy. If i were your CO I wouldn't re-recommend you for airborne school.

Call them. "I was told I was rejected so I shredded these confidential documents". Then I was told I was accepted. I couldn't have known the lab would make a mistake, is there anything you can do?" It would be pretty unreasonable of them to say no. Hope it works out. FYL.
