Help!

Today, I turned in an essay about a book I'd read over the summer. My teacher later called me to her desk and began to gush about how interesting the book sounded and asked to borrow my copy. The book I wrote about isn't real, and the main characters are named after my childhood pets. FML

Maybe you have a natural talent in writing. You should look into writing an actual book

Why would you do that? I seriously cannot comprehend why. YDI.

She probably googled the title online and figured it out when nothing came up. Sounds like she was giving you a chance to fess up.

Kudos for creativity, but YDI for not doing the actual assignment!

You borrowed it from your relative and it was an unpopular book from her youth, that is out of print. You borrowed it when she visited over the summer and you had previously had a Skype conversation to ask her to bring it. You mailed it back after you had finished. Boom excuse. But seriously, you deserved it.

You're in too deep. Now you have to be an author

Teachers...we will catch you almost every time!

Aww now you have to write the book

You better get to writing OP...or say you got it from the library

Try to stall as long as you can while you type it out. Then when you finish, you can quit stalling and say "oh hey, that book you wanted to read? Here" and give her your typed out story
