Today, while at work, a Beatles song came on the radio. I jokingly said, "These guys are pretty good, are they new?" Everyone thought I was being serious, and now they're convinced I'm an idiot. FML

Three things to gather from this one. 1. Your coworkers are idiots for not getting real humor. 2. You have a very healthy sense of humor. 3. There are FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE commenting on this one who forget the Beatles were merely musicians..and that at least one of their hits (Twist and Shout) was a cover of another group's hit.

It's not the fact that OP didn't know who the Beatles were that makes this an FML. It's the fact that they did and tried to make some music related humor, but their coworkers were too dense to realize that they were using sarcasm. I agree that their life sucks, because a life without sarcasm is a very dull life indeed.
