I know the feeling. I have Lupus. Buying makeup is impossible, because I'm so pale even the palest foundation shades make me look like I'm wearing blackface. Damn sun allergy. >(
Nurses must be friendly in all situations, no matter which. FYL
I have that disease too
well that was freakin rude
That was definitely rude of her, but dont feel bad, I find pale skin attractive and I am sure I am not the only one.
The rudeness of people now days astonishes me. And being pale isn't bad actually.
I break out badly in the sun. I have had dermatologist secretaries make rude comments to me too about my skin. Where do these people come from and how the hell do they get hired?
What a bitch! I would file a complaint on her, you can't work at a drs office and behave like that
It's okay OP! People call me a vampire a lot because I burn really easily and hate the sun. My nickname in 4-6th grade was "goth girl" because my hair is black and I'm very pale. I feel for you!
Also, you should tell someone about that comment because she deserves to get in trouble.
Take it as a compliment. Being fair is beautiful :) not to say that other skin tones aren't beautiful as well.

so much for being professional. Hopefully you told her and she apologized.
