He most likely bought it thinking it was weed. Don't feel too bad OP. Your kid isn't the only one. Kid's who come from sheltered homes eventually figure out where to buy real weed. Now that I'm in college almost everyone smokes weed now and then. 90% of their parents don't know. Their 28 year olds have been sneaking around in their house since they were 15 smoking weed. It isn't bad. OP educate yourself. My dad let me smoke in the house as long as I didn't drink alcohol at parties. I always came home fine and was up out of bed the next day. I've been smoking almost every day since I was 15. Now I'm 19. I got straight A's through high school. Even better grades in college and I work out 1 hr and a half every day. Why not learn about marijuana and all it's benefits before you ground him. He's going to smoke up and sneak around like everyone else's kids anyways. But if your educated about it you may just change your mind.
