A brilliant friend of mine tried that in college. He was too broke to buy real pot and none of his friends were holding. He said he got sorta high for about 30 seconds, then had a raging headache... so I'm thinking let your son go for it. Think of it as tough love, and try not to laugh too hard at him after. :)

Try to educate him corectly, weed is'nt that bad. but at a young age it is'nt wise to use it. although it opens up our minds to new things, our brains are still not fully grown that young, smoking pot makes it harder for it. ( own experience, i smoke a joint, where others grab a beer.)

not that I'm condoning it but smoking catnip/drinking it in tea can actually be very helpful for you, it is very helpful for anxiety relief as well as headache pains. plus when ground freshly into a salve it can really help with joint pains, this also goes for a large number f plants in the mint family. just saying
