Hog on hog action

Today, I pulled someone over for speeding. He was only 10 over the speed limit so I gave him an $84 fine. It turns out he is a workplace Occupational Health and Safety officer and because I wasn't wearing my high visibilty vest while standing on the side of the road he gave me a $250 fine. FML

Yeah, God forbid he actually did his job. It's scum like you who think it's okay to break the law if it's "only a little."

Yeah I know. Totally. F*ck him for pulling someone over that was going over the speed limit. I hate when cops pull people over for breaking the law. What a c*ckhole of a policeman.

YDI for being a douche and pulling someone over for 10 mph. Karma's a bitch.

Why is everyone calling him a dick/douche for pulling someone over for being 10 over the speed limit? What is so wrong about that? It's his f***ing job. Get over it.

#314 has hit the spot. In Sydney, you will ALWAYS get fined if you're caught going 10 over the speed limit. Why? Because the speed limit is there for a reason. Hell, most people drive UNDER the speed limit, just to be safe.

cops like you make me ******* sick. youre a waste of time, taxpayer money and a waste of life. You police disgust me. you prolly got picked on in high school and no girls would touch your dick so you decided to put on the badge so you could be Billy badass. i hope you enjoyed a taste of your own medicine. suck it easy officer

You're a disgrace to your own profession. I'm sick of cops setting up speed-traps so they can rake in more money. Don't pretend that you think going 50mph in a 40mph zone is actually a significant danger. I'm sure you've done more than 30mph over the speed limit at some point in your life, and I can't imagine that you don't do 10 over regularly. Stop being a greedy hypocrite and do your job.

Meh, a lot of stories about people getting pulled over on fmylife. Its nice to hear a story from the other side! They're human too.

This is great. I am so happy you got your fine. I don't know what it's like in WA, but in NSW all the speed cameras do is raise revenue for the government and create aggression on the roads. It also causes people to make up for not being able to speed on the motorways by driving recklessly in residential zones. I got a fine of $90 for being 11km over the limit out of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel, but since it was a public holiday, I had to lose 6 points (double demerits, half of my license). The Australian system is ridiculous, the Hume Hwy being 110km/hr is absoloutely ridiculous and should definitely be 150. I hope this fine makes you reconsider working for such a corrupt and unjust system.
