How could you?

By Ellie - This FML is from back in 2013 but it's good stuff - United States - Mission

Today, I dreamt that I beat someone up for using Comic Sans in a project. Now I can't look at him without being irrationally angry. FML

I've heard of Grammar Nazis, but this is the first I've heard of a Font Nazi.

Just remember. It was only a dream. Stay calm..don't do anything you're going to regret later.

This one time, my lab partner wrote her lab report in Comic Sans. I beat her up. Our teacher lectured the entire class about how we should use Times New Roman instead, and never Comic Sans. So yeah. You may have had a dream about it, but this was my reality.

times new roman is the most boring font in the world. there are plenty of formal fonts to use without resorting to times new roman.

It doesn't matter if times is boring, if that is what the teacher has said your font must be, you use times.

or you do what i did and use the font you want. as long as its legible they dont care. not even in uni do they care as long as it looks formal.

Despite how it looks like a child wrote, I've always wondered why people hate Comic Sans.

Cause its just so damn comical! Imagine people writing an obituary in Comic Sans. No one would ever take it seriously... ;)

They totally deserved being beat up. I mean, c'mon. It's Comic Sans -.-"

Most teachers assign Times New Roman ONLY...so don't worry about it...or for that matter you do the final corrections on the papers...

Speaking as a Student Graphic Designer, I can sorta tell how you feel.

why are you mad for something done in a dream?

Note the word "irrationally" in the post. There isn't a rational reason. But it's still there.
