I got it in 7th grade right before learning it was also an std. So when talking about the symptoms and treatments I knew all the answers. Think I’m a pretty clean person but cause of my sensitive skin and eczema they think I was more susceptible to scabies.
A phobia is an irrational fear. The good news here is your fear of microorganisms is perfectly justified. Yay! Now, don’t start foaming at the mouth and go around trying to bite people!
Op scabies (sarcoptes scabiei aka sarcoptic mange) is a mite, a tiny parasitic bug. Saying hygiene affects getting scabies is like saying you showered so you can’t get a mosquito bite, or your hair is clean so you can’t get lice.
Yup it’s a mite living in your skin, not a germ. No need to worry!
That mite be a problem
