I didn't ask for this

Today, an annoying ex-coworker I have ignored for 15 years sent me an e-mail to "inform me of her new address." The e-mail actually enclosed a video of her touring the new house and garden like a realtor. I skipped to the end where she humblebrags about how "grateful" she is "to be blessed with this property." I agree, your life sucks 435
You deserved it 118

One nice thing about emails is how easy it is to delete them and block the sender if necessary (I wouldn’t go quite that far, though)… OP, I think you encountered a form of “humble bragging” where the sender was proud of their new home and slightly took a little of the bragging off by saying they “felt blessed”… OP, there are always going to be people better off and worse off than ourselves. Don’t let this person get to you and spoil your own life. Just ignore it. Life is not really a contest to see who has the most stuff, unless you make that out of it. If you do that, you will never be happy for long.
