... so he started sleeping with her when she was a minor? Because it sounds like even if he wasn't physically having sex with her then, that he was quite likely grooming her, which is just as ****** up. Also, silver lining- him admitting as much will be good for your side of the divorce.

I'm not gonna say that there wasn't a experience / power inequality or anything, I just wanted to say that if the babysitter is at least 19 and a half years old then she would have been at least 18 when they began the relationship.

That is true, but it seems like - in regards to teens and young adults at least- once someone is, let's say nineteen and a half years old, people prefer to refer to them as "almost twenty years old." Even if she was technically legal when they started having sex, it still sounds very much like he spent the years prior to her being so grooming her to be attracted to him. I say so because for her to not find it weird that someone that was presumably at least 36 years old either started hitting on her the minute she was legal, or as soon as she was legal returned her advances, implies that it isn't anything new or unusual.
