Improvise, adapt, overcome

By SomePeoplesKids - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - Canada - Okotoks

Today, I walked in on my daughter attempting to iron her pants with a hair straightener. She's 17. FML

Rather clever idea actually.

I do that all the time, it's great for shirt collars and around buttons!

I've done small little ironing jobs with mine and I'm 26. And it works. Don't hate in her for that.

When I'm in a hurry to get ready for work and I already have my straighter out because I just used it on my hair, if I have just a few wrinkles on my shirt I'll use it really quick, because otherwise plugging in the actual iron and getting the ironing board out can take longer when I'm already running late. It doesn't work the best but when you're in a hurry it's fine.
