Improvise, adapt, overcome

By SomePeoplesKids - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - Canada - Okotoks

Today, I walked in on my daughter attempting to iron her pants with a hair straightener. She's 17. FML

Rather clever idea actually.

I do that all the time, it's great for shirt collars and around buttons!

I always use my straightener on my uniforms. It's easier and faster and works great and you don't need an ironing board. Perfect solution for barracks life

Tht actually works, it's an old trick my sister and I use when we're on the road and our clothes out wrinkled. It actually works

I do that with my shirt collars and around the buttons. :)

Hold on... Did she take them off first?

Why is this an FML? It's actually a life hack.

There are much worse things you could've walked in on

I don't see how her age rules that out. its a device designed for that purpose, only a more sensitive material.
