Why would you have any reaction to a postman? Heck my mail today consisted of a letter that said I bought and ate recalled food, a recall for my car, 3 debt collection notices, and a letter from my issuance saying they're going to raise the price of my asthma medication at the end of the month. I'll probably get more bad news tomorrow. Still indifferent to the postman.

If he was approaching your house through the window he wasn't a mailman he was a Peeping Tom. You did the right thing, it said no one here to look at move along

I mean, from the name "Trooper" I would've guessed maybe former military. So perhaps this was a reaction based on PTSD or something similar?? But I can only speculate....
