Why would you have any reaction to a postman? Heck my mail today consisted of a letter that said I bought and ate recalled food, a recall for my car, 3 debt collection notices, and a letter from my issuance saying they're going to raise the price of my asthma medication at the end of the month. I'll probably get more bad news tomorrow. Still indifferent to the postman.

Definitely did not get better. Went to go do laundry after picking up my mail. On my way there got to be the first one on the scene of a pretty nasty accident ( well first one to not drive off). FYI TV, Movies, and even my first responder training do not prepare you having to pull back side curtain airbags in the dark when you can't hear anything inside the car. After dealing with all that, 1/4 mile down the road there was a power outage, no power for laundry and my return home lane was blocked by the police and medics. So, taking the very round about way I went to stop at Walmart to at least buy a clean shirt for work, turns out Walmart a couple towns was right on the edge of the power outage. Oh and now I'm out of clean shop rags because I gave them to the guy who's head was bleeding. Today barely nudges the needle on my bad day scale.
Do you by any chance drive a Volkswagen?

If he was approaching your house through the window he wasn't a mailman he was a Peeping Tom. You did the right thing, it said no one here to look at move along
i think she mean that she was watching through the window.
