You're lucky your thumb didn't break.
#4, I don't think she deserves it, but you get a thumb for your epic comment.
Use gummy bears and really squish them into the dish. They need to tug to get that out
In you're own defense mousetraps are a pain in the ass to set right, try glue traps.... There kinda brutal
Dont feel too bad, rodents are actually quite smart... Australians on the other hand...
Once, I set down one of those traps and the mouse got caught, but wasn't dead. I had to live with the annoying sound of the mouse dragging the trap around for about two days or so until I found it. Decided I would let it back free outside.
just caught 2 in 2 days, they can't resist the peanut butter!!!
oh gawd...its jerry! :o
Those are really hard to set. I've snapped myself before too

Now that the mouse has proven its intellectual supremacy, surrender your house and its belongings to your new furry overlords. YDI
Mice are smarter than you'd think. Use chunky peanut butter and wedge one of the chunks onto the bait plate so they have to tug a little. Or use those nasty sticky pads then put the full one in someone you don't like's mailbox. (I'm just kidding about the mailbox. That would be a Federal crime. Put it on their welcome mat instead)
