I liked this then decided I don't think it's a good idea. The better thing would be to act as if it didn't hurt and life is FABULOUS! Or make it known to him that you're happy he didn't show and everyone knows HE'S AN ASS. "Whew, I was thinking of not showing, but decided the guests and family (not him) would be upset. I almost looked like the ass"
