Well, marriage is a losing proposition for men. There's no real reason for legal marriage (aside from tax benefits). If you're religious do the ceremony, but do not sign any legal papers. Isn't love more important than legal obligation anyway?

To #44, So only men have it awful when they get married? What about all the women who throw their lives away and marry some stupid asshole because HE wanted to get married and not the other way around. Women have just enough to lose as men now so its kind of prehistoric thinking to say that only men have it bad. Come on! My boyfriend likes marriage a hell of a lot more than i do and I'm a girl.
