Your cousin passed away and you’re upset about a dress? Clothing can be replaced, your cousin can’t. I think your priorities are a tad messed up.

1. OP is probably more upset about the cousin, but 2. It sounds like the cousin had stolen the dress and that’s the issue here

I'm sorry for the loss of your cousin. At least you know where the dress was all these months--your cousin stole it and someone thought it would look nice on her at the viewing.
