Burn it, and burn it all now.
My sister just came over and apparently had lice lying dormant on her scalp. My mom's advice was to wash everything in my washer's sanitary cycle, pick up a treatment as a preventative measure, and buy lice spray for furniture because she sat on my couch. So now, OP, I pass the same advice on to you. Good luck.

Lice is very hard to get rid of chances are your sis will get it too since they had a sleepover it takes bout 5-7 days for it to start showing.... I have been battling lice with two of my daughter now for almost a month I have tried everything from over the counter and prescriptions products!! I have thrown away all pillows washed and rewashed the bedding cleaned there beads vacuumed the floors sanitized there brushes hair clips and ties and those freaking bastards still keep coming back!!!!! lice is not a thing of cleanliness at all they are just a major pain in the ass to get rid of.... Go figure
Use vinegar or olive oil on their hair. It will smother the lice, and they'll all be dead. Even the nits.
