That poor mouse. Just take a frying pan and hit it really really hard. Or use a hammer or something. You shouldn't let it suffer all night.
Poor mouse :(
I'd suggest electric traps. Shaped like a tunnel, these traps are set by placing food at the closed end of the trap. Once the small creature nears the food, they step on a high voltage panel, which kills them nearly instantly. You then dump out the trap, reset it and you're good to go. The only downside is you have to be kind of careful, depending on where you live- my trap once snagged me a rather rare species of jumping rat, which made me pretty sad.
Stupid Bitch. I feel bad for the poor little mouse. You deserve it.
Ydi so much for using sticky traps. Do you have any idea what that must be like for the mouse. I hope you feel terrible.
Girl, I was doing yard work for my elderly neighbors and I was using a pitchfork after dumping the yard waste from a pile I saw I had skewered a poor little mouse! And me being gay and also a animal lover myself had to broken hardly put him out of his misery. So wanna trade days?
JFC. Like other people have said- if you aren't going to deal with the consequences of using one of the most inhumane trap designs in an adult and responsible way to at least try to be more humane... Don't use it at all. Simple logic. Get a long stick or something and kill them next time, don't make them go through that.

So you're just going to let the mouse suffer all night?
Uhh... if you're REALLY a mouse lover as your name and choice of trap suggests, you might think about waking your husband up or facing your fears. Mice don't react all that well to stress, especially not hour long fear for their life. You might wake up to a dead mouse because its heart has given out.
