Should've just used a regular mouse trap. They die a lot faster and you can just pick it up and toss it away.
Next time use lethal ones. The snapping sound will let you know when you caught one and the mouse will be dead so won't squeak.
Wake him up!!! It's emergency!! XD
Grow a pair maybe?
Sticky traps are awful. :( shame on you!
I don't like mice but I think the sticky traps are cruelly ineffective. Years ago,, while visiting a friend, I witnessed a small mouse get caught on one & that lil thing attempted to run backwards with the trap still attached...this is true & the screaching noise it made was intense.
That's nice let it suffer. You sound like a wonderful person
YDI for using that trap. Don't call yourself "mouse lover" until you actually do something to show that you don't want innocent animals to suffer.

So you're just going to let the mouse suffer all night?
Uhh... if you're REALLY a mouse lover as your name and choice of trap suggests, you might think about waking your husband up or facing your fears. Mice don't react all that well to stress, especially not hour long fear for their life. You might wake up to a dead mouse because its heart has given out.
