Hm... Better to just forget about it lol at least the gf was nice enough to tell you what was going on, ya know? So you weren't lead on more. Plus, was he flirting? If not, why be upset?
I'm led to speculate if perhaps he wasn't drunk at all? Everyone's saying it was nice of her to be that considerate and tell the OP what was going on- But maybe it was as simple as she's a complete bitch and didn't want her bf to talk to another girl. Maybe she's just a manipulative liar? /devil's advocate
or maybe it was just him pretending to be his "gf"?
Lol in case you didn't catch that she was subtly telling you to back off....its too bad the guy you like is taken, but I'd suggest finding someone else
lol at least she wasn't a bitch about it.
My ex used to text girls (with a phone number they could only text, not call) and IM girls (some who were my friends) from facebook "just to mess with them." Just to mess with them meant exchanging cell phone numbers and making plans to meet up and telling them things he knows about them. All stalkerish stuff. My friend got suspicious and asked me if I knew what was going on and that's how I found out. He wasn't cheating (to my knowledge) but what a way to lose trust in a relationship. Creepy ****.
Just wanted to add that he was doing all this anonymously, if that wasn't obvious enough. My friends were creeped out, to say the least, that a "stranger" knew all these personal details about them. Not to mention those poor girls he text-abused. He even told me (when he was confessing everything) that it was funny when a girl's boyfriend tried to threaten him through text.
YDI for texting instead of talking on a phone like a normal human being.
YDI for trying to get with someone else's boyfriend. Whoreeee.
