Legally by law you could sue the company as they cannot find ways and plan to fire someone. Go to your HR and file a complaint as well. He may be the one planning this but I can assure you the ones above him wouldn't stand for this. With the email as proof they know they would lose the case in court. I am not the sue happy person but if you follow the above steps to try to stop it now and it still happens they should pay more than just unemployment. I deal with these situations all the time. You can avoid this.
