Please say you're 18 and he's like 60. Just so I can laugh in your face.
There's a good chance he's someone who had kids early..and considering how it seems like she's surprised by the fact he has a grandchild, he might be say...35, and had a child when he was say..17? and then his child followed in his footsteps and had a kid at 18. so if the op is around 20, the guy's only like 15-20 years olders based on purely speculation of course. and in this time and age, an age gap like that isn't totally surprising. i know/heard of many teenage pregnancies *shrugs*
how did something that is so obviously fake get accepted?
i believe it bc i was in a very similar situation. i'm 22, was seeing a 36 year old man with a 20 year old daughter who had a two year old. i had to end it bc it was too weird and my dad (who is 51) woulda killed him if he knew!
They'd smell like dust and Ben-Gay, or so I've heard.
The ignorance of your comment...I can't even begin to explain how ignorant it is.
He doesn't have to be that old. If she's around twenty and he's around forty, he could very well have had a child young who would be about a year older than her and had a child of her own. I don't think this is fake at all, but, uh, maybe that's because I'm 19 and I'm currently hooking up with someone who's 37 ;) I really hope this doesn't end up happening to me. Since the OP said that she's only hooking up with him, I doubt she's really super interested in him, she probably just feels a little weird for hooking up with a young grandpa. There's someone at my work who is 57 and a great-grandpa.
I would be more inclined to believe this if the OP mentioned her age. For not, I'm inclined to call BS.

let me get this straight, your dating someone who is old enough to be your dad?
So? =P
