Today, my long distance girlfriend of almost two years broke up with me because I didn't like her drinking and driving. Her reasoning was, "I don't go out that often so what's the problem?" or "I'm safe when I drive drunk." Yeah? How many drunk drivers thought the same then wrapped their car around a tree? FML

I personally know a little girl, only 11 years old that was killed by a drunk driver. He actually stopped a mile and a half down the road to see if "she damaged his truck" before going on to the next bar. His friends convinced him to turn himself in the next morning. He served his time, got out on parole, immediately drove drunk and got put right back in prison. Once he got out, he took his own life. She thinks it's all fun and games but she is putting lives at stake. She can take her own in her own way if she wants, but when she puts others in danger? Yeah F that.

Personally I don't understand people who drive after drinking at all; especially after I was almost killed by a drunk driver who slammed into my driver's door and resulted in me spending five weeks in coma. Even though she thinks or feels that she is safe she is putting her own and other people's life and health at risk!
