Today, I celebrated my fifteen-week anniversary. No, not a relationship anniversary. A migraine anniversary. It won't stop. FML

a fifteen week long migraine? please tell me you've seen a professional, cause that sounds like something definitely isn't right

Uh, I think it's more complicated than that. It sounds like you're talking about a regular headache. Migraine is much different.

Op, I too suffer from migraines, I actually go next month to start the Botox injections. They've been on stop for over a year, since I had my daughter. I went to my family doctor and got a referral to a neurologist. There's also ear piercings that are supposed to help!

I wanted to throw this out there so you may learn something from my bad experience. I've had a constant migraine going on 15 yrs and put off Botox until there seemed like there were no other options. What I didn't know at the time is that there are different types of Botox; A,B&C. It's been a while since I had it done and I think they gave me C. There are also generics, and in my opinion I wouldn't go for the generic. I had 3 rounds; 1 every 3-4 months at 35ish "shots" each time. The first 2 times I had it done, I had Botox-A and while it didn't really help, I didn't have any kind of reaction. The last one, they sent the other class and my face blew up like a puffer fish and there was nothing that could be done to fix it other than waiting for it to wear off. I've since found out my system doesn't react to meds like most people do, we figured that out through a DNA test where they analyze your cheek swabs to find out how our meds break down meds, which ones to stay away from and which will work best, etc... I'm sorry to ramble, I just wanted to give you a quick background of what I've done. Point being, talk to your dr and ask which one they will be using, how long and approx many times they've done the procedure and the outcomes of the successful times and any kind of unsuccessful reactions they've had. I hope you have a better outcome than I did with the treatment, I just wanted to tell you something that you might not have had brought up. Best wishes for you to get to feeling better ASAP!

You do realize you were supposed to go to the hospital after day 3 right? They can give you a shot that makes it go away.

Op, I'm on year three and half of my migraines. They haven't stopped at all. Been to several professionals and they all say nothing is wrong. But do see a someone, hopefully they can help you out! :)

Dang dang. I can't even get in to see a neuro here. I hope you get relief soon!

I experienced a very bad headache that lasted for just over two months when I was in college. I ended up finding out that 1) I had a terrible astigmatism in one eye so glasses helped a bit and 2) The medication the doctor gave me did not work at all but over the counter "Migraine Relief" from Rite Aid does the trick for whatever reason. Good luck! Headaches are the worst!

I don't know wtf is poisoning us all, but me and people I talk to have had a ridiculous number of endless migraines these past couple of years, more than in our whole lives. Trust No One.

Anniversary only happens once a year not 15 weeks its annual

try vitamin B . My wife suffers from migraines and that really helped her

Specifically B2. I take 400mg. It does turn your pee neon yellow or orange (getting rid of any your body doesn't use), so be sure to monitor your water intake because you won't be able to tell how hydrated you are from the color of your urine.
