🫂 I never know what to say about this aspect of the US health 'care' system. It's beyond barbaric. Are there no advocacy or support groups who can help you challenge this? There's gotta be at least one Reddit dedicated to helping people in your situation navigate this bollocks. I'm English so I really don't know how the bureaucracy works but life or death decisions *should* be disputable, surely?
I think OP's point was that the bleeding wasn't considered "bad enough", not the cancer. Still pretty ridiculous.
Have your Dr fight for you. Ins companies are in it for money, and deny anything expensive the first time through.

demand to see the medical credentials of the person who determined that. they often back down because they don't HAVE medical credentials.
Demand to have an re-evaluation. Fight for yourself, OP, because your insurance sure as hell won't.
