It doesn't state anything wrong that his X-wife did. They got divorced and she got remarried and moved on with her life. I wish OP all the best and quick and permanent recovery, but no need to badmouth his X.
I disagree. Spite is a hell of a motivator.
I am a cancer survivor myself (in remission for 6 years now). Cancer is no longer an automatic death sentence. Do what your doctors tell you to do to beat the cancer… Don’t obsess over an ex - That’s ancient history now. You will be needing support and help now from family and friends in dealing with your diagnosis. You might also need to seen a therapist or mental health professional.
