yes, Miami is full of silly people. nobody can drive either. it's a fragmented city composed of what amounts to many small towns very very close together. go someplace, and you tend to run into the same people in spite of the large population. I live here because it's my home. my friends, family, and job is here. plus snow sucks. same as every other city I suppose. the cool people tend to stay below the radar, it's the assholes you notice the most. I can go someplace and generally not cause a problem. I may not fit in, but I don't make a big deal if things are different from home.

Well 77 the truth is, i bet the French are pissed off with all of the tourists that go to Paris and know very little French... I mean, most French people can speak English, but very little English / Americans can speak French. I don't know, the French people i have spoken to don't seem to mind, but it must annoy some of them.

"Most French people can speak english when americans don't speak french". Well as a French I'll tell you it is actually shameful how lame the french are in foreign languages. That might be the reason why they seem unfriendly, because they can't even use the basics of proper english. Even the politics look like fool when they try to make a sentence in english... but hey, one day maybe !
