Today, I wrote to the guy whom I am in love with to tell him how I feel about him. He was very calm and told me to give him some time to think it over. Later in the day, I found out he blocked my number and rejected me on Facebook. But, the worst part is he then texted me saying, "This is my reply". FML

Girl NEVER beg a guy for a text back. Let me tell you something: It’s 2025. We all have our phones on our hands, we even use it while we’re taking a shit. *Everyone* checks their phones every 5-10 minutes. If it’s been a couple of days and you haven’t heard from a guy, he’s not interested in the slightest. And before y’alll come at me with “What if he was busy” excuse: my friend’s boyfriend is an an on-call MA. When it was COVID pandemic, even at his busiest shifts, he still made time to Facetime her AT WORK!!! I hate to say it but in the course of those couple of days, that guy saw your text. He chose to ignore it because he wasn’t interested. Even if he was busy, if you’re important enough he’ll make the time. You begging for a text back when seeing him post on social media screamed desperation and confirmed his disinterest. Please don’t do that again. The right guy won’t have you begging for a text back. He’ll do it effortlessly. Also read that book. It will help you understand what I’m talking about.

100% agree and I'll add don't beg for text back, call, or attention from ANYONE. not even family members or friends. I've learned my worth the hard way for sure chasing after people and now I'm at the point where if they don't have time for me I sure don't have time for them.
