If you are allergic to sodium hydroxide, you can use soaps made with potash, which are softer. If you are allergic to both, good luck with the paleo skin cleaning. On the plus side, there are tons of recipes on the Internet to clean your skin with lemon juice, egg yolks (specially your hair), chamomille tea and beer. The trick is to finish with the chamomille tea to remove the smell of beer. Ask your dermatologist.
Have you been tested for a glycerin allergy there rare and not usually tested for but it's in almost everything we eat or use, especially soaps and lotions, but be careful it has many different names and doesn't have to be listed always contact manufacturer to get complete list, also check to see if you have a polyethylene glycol or PEG as usually listed yet another chemical that isn't required to be listed but alot of people have this allergy but are clueless to it, but you'll have to find a specialist for those tests, trust me I feel your pain same issues.😞
I'm allergic to nearly all soaps because many have detergent in them. Don't buy big brand names, or even the ones that say "for sensitive skin", they all have detergent. You may need an oil based all natural soap which you can order these online so you don't have to drive! This includes shampoo, washing clothes, hand soap, and body wash. Good luck
Maybe you should just get Bubble Boys old bubble. If George Costanza stops by to play Trivial Pursuit remember the answer is the Moops.
You can’t catch a break. Find what you are allergic to ( which you seem to know already) research it and find out anything that may have it and then stay away from anything that comes close to it. Good example would be gluten, so much has it as a hidden ingredient
Have you had an allergy test? I'm allergic to nickel which is in everything... maybe have a shower with out soap see if you have an reaction. Because it might be something in the water.
