Neighborhood watch

Today, I came back home to find that my house had been robbed, one week after my neighbors. I was walking around my neighborhood to see if anything was suspicious, and discovered that my neighbors had put up a sign, reading: "Rob the neighbors, THEY don't have a security system." FML

Did your neighbors actually know you don't have a security system? I see a lot of people saying to sue your neighbors, but when I read it I get "go somewhere else, we have security", not "go rob THAT house". Honestly most security systems aren't even worth it. By the time the company verifies the validity & calls the cops & they get to your house the guys are already gone. Smash & grab robberies tend to be in & out in less than 15 minutes.
