Never forget

Today, after my parent's forgot my 16th birthday, then rescheduled for two weeks later and forgot, fast forward to my 36th. My father, my husband, and my teen kids all forgot. I was told to relax and that they would make a cake, etc. No cake was made. Mom got me a food gift that I'm allergic to. It's been a few days. Forgotten again. FML

simply 'forget' about theirs. see if they forget yours again.

Advocate for what you need, and if the people around you won't help supply it, then get rid of them (not the kids, obviously)

OP, I'm sorry. And for everyone suffering from forgetfullness about anniversaries, birthdays etc. : Email reminders are your friend (you can set them in your mail providers calendar tool).

Never go out of your way to do anything special for any of them ever again. When one of them starts throwing a shit fit about it, ask them why they think they get to treat you like shit without any consequences?
