Today, I got a call from my parents' divorce lawyer. When I answered the phone, she thought I was my mother and told me the details about my parent's divorce. I'm a 13-year-old boy who sounds like a woman and just learned that my parents are separating. FML

number nine- you just don't get what teachers teach us these days. a simple paper that takes two days turns into two weeks. they also teach us to write like adults.

lol im a girl and i have a voice deeper than most girls so they confused me and my brother so my brother now goes deeper than darthvader so no one calls him "anna" when he answers the phone

I agree #50, 13 year olds are too innocent to be on this site, not the internet in general but on sites like this where people say some really disturbing stuff. Half of these comments are disturbing if you read them, there are racists, homophobics, people saying that its the OP's fault that his parents are getting divorced, etc. Now don't get me wrong, I hate nothing against 13 year olds, I know a ton and for the most part they are pretty mature but by innocent, I mean they lack life experience, which is true. And if they try to gain life experience before they're old enough, there is actually a medical condition of which the name escapes me at the moment. Doctors say that if a child has grow up and take on responsibility and life experience young, then when they grow up, they try to have their childhood as an adult (people say Micheal Jackson had this) so don't try to grow up too fast, everyone needs to have fun as a kid, that's what being a kid is all about. I'm 15, going into grade 11, and I'm not even ready to see what's on the internet. There are sick and disturbing people on the internet, seriously, you don't even know the half of it.

The voice thing is gonna be over soon enough, so don't worry about it. And about the divorce... There's worse stuff that can happen. My parents seperated about two to three years ago (see, I can't even remember the year) and it wasn't as bad as people make it sound. Sure, I don't see my dad as often as I used to, but he's not out of the world. It's really not that big of a deal unless you make it one. Whenever I tell people, though, they're like "Aw, I'm sorry!"... It's weird. But the looks on their faces when I say it's fine is kinda priceless. :D
